within the Glasgow office.
The team at Gatehouse Property Management are highly qualified and have held senior and director roles at national firms. Between them, they have a vast amount of experience in all commercial property sectors especially in shopping centres and dealing with retail and corporate occupiers providing strategic and asset management advice. The surveying team works in partnership with a dedicated finance team led by a client accountant with support provided by credit control and purchase ledger colleagues. In addition, pro-active facilities and centre managers are on the ground with their respective teams focusing on customer service.
Property Director
Stuart is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and established the Group in 2001.
He formerly worked in private practice as a property consultant for Chesterton, Eric Young & Co and Hamilton Glen.
Director of Property and Asset Management
Stephen is a chartered surveyor who has over 30 years commercial property experience. He has held head of department roles at national surveying firms, looking after a variety of property types for various clients. He has a particular specialism in the management, set up and running of shopping centres. He has proven expertise in maximising income and minimising outgoings by applying innovative ways to make centres run more efficiently, restructuring site teams and undertaking promotions. He also gives strategic asset management advice, overseeing lettings and negotiating lease renewals with tenants at centres across the UK.
Stephen is responsible for the delivery of the property and asset management functions across the portfolio.
Finance Director
A qualified accountant, David joined the Group in 2019 to lead the Finance team, originally joining as Group Financial Controller before becoming Finance Director in 2024. He has over a decade of experience within the property management sector, working for a number of national and international clients as well as working on behalf of large UK pension funds. David previously worked as a Fund Accountant for First Property, where he was responsible for the day-to-day finance function of the UK commercial property funds. Prior to that role, he worked for Savills on their largest property management instruction after starting his career at Countrywide.
Senior Asset Manager
Roddy has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management and agency. Most recently, he was responsible for the asset management of a substantial multi-let retail and industrial portfolio as Scotland Director at London & Cambridge Properties. Prior to this he was Head of Asset Management at Hillington Park, Scotland’s largest business park, comprising a range of industrial and office assets.
In early roles at CBRE and Jones Lang LaSalle, Roddy focussed on office agency and tenant representation, together with corporate occupier and development consultancy projects.
Property Manager
Lyndsay joined the group in 2020 with experience working in a managerial role within the lettings and sales sector.
Finance Manager
Kieran joined the team in December 2021 having previously been Purchase Ledger at City Facilities Management (UK) and Purchase Ledger at Norbulk Shipping UK.
Portfolio Operations Manager
25 years of Retail experience, 17 of which as an Area Manager for Luxury Designer Furniture and well-known high-street fashion retailers, in addition to General Manager roles for Debenhams, The Range & New Look.
Marketing Administrator
Ben joined the company in November 2024, bringing with him a strong foundation in marketing following the completion of his degree. Prior to joining the team, he gained valuable hands-on experience through a Marketing internship, as well as volunteering in both digital and traditional marketing roles.
Accounts Payable Lead
Rebecca joined the group May 2025 as the Accounts Payable Lead. Rebecca previously worked at Savills managing the accounts payable team, working with large clients across the UK and international such as the Walkie Talkie building in London. She has over a decade of experience in accounts payable and over 5 years experience in property management.

Fiona joins us with many years of experience in asset management and agency comprising a range of industrial and office assets.
Credit Controller
With over 6.5 years of experience in financial services within an Insurance Broker Accounting team, I’ve built a strong background in Credit Control, Cash Posting, Premium Finance, and team leadership. My core expertise lies in credit management, having spent most of my career ensuring effective debt recovery and cash flow performance. In my final two years, I led the Credit Administration team, collaborating with stakeholders and managing client accounts across the UK and Channel Islands.
Now working in the property industry, I bring a sharp financial acumen, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to credit control within a new sector. My experience in high-volume, client-facing environments translates well into the fast-paced property space, where I continue to deliver results while expanding my industry knowledge.

I’ve spent the last 20 years working in retail managing large format stores all over the UK for Debenhams and M&S. I’ve always looked at shopping centre management as the next step in my career as I believe my retail experience supports the shopping centre model.

Experienced and award-winning Centre Manager with 29 years management experience- 12 years within commercial property management. Has looked after multiple properties ranging from shopping centres, offices blocks, industrial estates and distribution centres.
Centre Manager for Kingsgate Shopping Centre
15 years in Hospitality specifically within the Hotel and Serviced Apartment sectors focusing on budgeting, forecast and property management.
Experienced with pre-opening and restructuring of mid and large-scale properties on behalf of new owners and management companies.

Having spent the last 28 years’ working within Retail, with the last 24 years as Store Manager with Primark – I have gained vast knowledge and experience of Customer Service and Operational processes involved in managing stores, and believe this experience supports this next step in my career within shopping centre management.

Sue is the centre manager for the White Rose Centre in Rhyl. She was previously the centre manager for the Victoria Shopping Centre, Llandudno and also a store manager for Bon Marche.

I’m an experienced manager with over 30 years working within retail, shopping centre and major transport hub management.
My retail career has ranged from high street to out to town, to shopping centres, working as store and area manager across multiple retail sectors.
This background has assisted my transition into Shopping Centre management, working at large shopping centres in Cardiff & Bristol.
This broad experience supports my continued focus on delivering customer excellence throughout the centre for our retailers whilst ensuring an enjoyable customer journey.
